Admiring someone’s appearance is not considered to be love so love, at first sight, is flawed. Loving someone requires much more than just an admiration of the body, rather, it has complicated components which build upon each other. “Love at first sight” should be worded as “lust at first sight” since infatuation is what drives someone into the extreme thought that they are in love within a few seconds. I do not believe in love at first sight because the main component of love is patience, which is missing at the first sight. Life is completed when love is a part of it. Love has many unique definitions depending on who you ask. To put it simply for myself, true love makes you feel alive and captivates you to want more.Love is a complex feeling. Love comes from trust, understanding, and most importantly, patience. It goes deeper than surface-level characteristics and it intrigues you to want to know more about the person. Love is when you think that every single bit of a person is amazing. Words can’t describe what you’re feeling. Love is the life which makes you feel complete and without love, life has no meaning. It means making that person a priority, sometimes even above yourself. Giving your all with all your heart while trusting with your eyes closed. Caring, nurturing, believing, and never expecting anything in return. True love is when you love someone more than yourself which prepares you to do anything for them. True love is when you find yourself thinking of that person always, and caring for them. This is achieved when the partners love, respect and trust each other. Problems and worries seem to fade away when you are with them. Real love is loving someone unconditionally, and wanting to please them whenever they are in need. They encompass your every thought and every conversation will never seem to end. Patience, being one of the main components of love, enables lovers undisputed time to become better friends which will create a deeper bond. Furthermore, patience is an important tool in overcoming frustration because it allows us to suspend judgment long enough to make informed decisions, thus paving the path to a happy and peaceful relationship. As Eric Worre once said, “Everything worthwhile takes time. This is what I imagine love to be, therefore, it cannot be achieved at first glance. “Lust at first sight” is more appropriate for those who seem to fall in love within the first few seconds of meeting someone. Lust is the state where your perception of someone is as a physical or sexual object, rather than as an individual worthy of respect. Being focused on the physical appearance of the person you desire is definitely a strong giveaway of lust. More components that make up this strong feeling are a strong desire to have sex, but not deep emotional conversations, the need to keep the relationship on a fantasy level, not discuss real feelings and only restricted to being lovers, but not necessarily friends. Lust is a changed state of consciousness programmed by the urge to procreate. Studies show that the brain in this phase is similar to a brain on drugs. MRI scans illustrate that the same area lights up when an addict gets a fix of cocaine as when a person is experiencing the intense lust of physical attraction. Lust is fueled by idealization and projection, you essentially see what you hope someone will be or need them to be–rather than seeing the real person, flaws and all. It is simply an infatuation while love is a necessity. At a youthful age, when you are most vulnerable to the thought of love at first sight, you have no clue what it implies to cherish somebody, or what a real relationship requests of each part. With that aside, at this point in your life, you have no thought of what you need for yourself in the future. Life-changing and life-creating activities are being explored, without any considerations on the repercussions they might have encounter later on. However, when communicated accurately with full mindfulness of life and reality, love is wonderful. It can be an astounding involvement when the two people in love are cognizant, mindful individuals who can examine the circumstance truly and rationally. Unfortunately, this is usually not the case since most are fair driven by the thought of lust which has no respect for the person’s feelings. Many are blinded by the appearance of the person that they forget the true meaning of love. Recently, society has frequently discussed sex in public which has sparked thoughts into teenagers. As a result, many adolescents find themselves engaging in these activities because of their strong desires and wrong intentions. Lust blinds someone into thinking they are in love but this is actually the complete opposite since love requires effort and time. So I agree, love is a brilliant thing, in any case, more focus should be emphasized on understanding what life is about and how our choices can influence our future. With the right approach, each of us can appreciate a long, cheerful, satisfying life with the individual of our dreams. I believe love is completely essential for one’s life. The feeling that somebody loves us despite all our imperfections gives us the essential inspiration to keep seeking after passions and interests. In spite of the fact that any kind of love can allow meaning to our lives, romantic love has an eminent feeling which cannot be imitated by anything else. Love completes our lives. In interactions with others in the world, love will be for a greater unfolding together. Love should not be used around lightly because it is the most significant aspect of our lives. Lust is cheap and does not fulfill for an exceptionally long time. On the other hand, love has all of the significance and once accomplished, it is a feeling which makes you feel alive which captivates you to want more.Love at first sight is an immature statement, said by those who do not truly know what love is. They are confused with the objectification of someone they desire but love is actually an intense feeling felt by many, who invest the time and effort into a strong attachment. Love is beautiful and once it is achieved, life feels complete and nothing in the world can bring someone who is in love down. Patience is critical for love to peak because this allows time to suspend judgment long enough to make informed decisions. Based on the points mentioned, it is clear that love is not a light word that can be fulfilled within the first few seconds of meeting someone. It is a long process which takes a great amount of effort from both people in the relationship.
